3 Ways to possibly reduce Kidney Disease
Here are 3 ways to possibly reduce Kidney Disease that I found while looking through my mom’s notes for this month’s Millie’s Musings. I came across the same note 3 times so I thought it must be important! … or a sign of memory loss on my mom’s part! …lol… Anyway, the note had to do with drinking wine daily (that’s probably what caught my attention :)) and how that may help prevent or reduce kidney disease.
I automatically wondered if there is Kidney Disease Awareness month, and, if so, what month it is. I was so excited to find out that March, this month, is it! How timely! So, of course, this month’s Millie’s Musings is about ways to possibly reduce Kidney Disease.
According to Millie’s note(s), the ways to do this are:
- Sipping away trouble with water and wine. Drinking 4-8 oz. water along with 6 oz. article to read.
According to National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 37 million people in the United States are estimated to have Chronic Kidney Disease. If you are interested in finding out more, you can visit their web site at National Kidney Month 2022 | NIDDK (nih.gov).
