Liver Cleansing

Liver Cleansing

I’ve never really thought about liver cleansing. Have you? I mean, really? Cleaning your liver? … I never thought about this that is until I came across the note from Millie that is this month’s Musing. I’m still not thinking about cleaning my liver, but found this note interesting(?)

First of all, WHY would we want to clean our liver? The note says, “The libido may be down and there may be disorders, HBP (high blood pressure) and weight gain. You might want to try a little liver cleansing.” (so I take all that to mean, if your libido is down you may have those things, but maybe you just need a clean liver.) So, let’s find out how to clean your liver.

Tips for liver cleansing:

  • Eat a lot of raw carrots and beets. Very good for your liver.
  • Consumer as little fat as possible.
  • No alcohol.
  • Eat as much raw food as possible.
  • Drink lots and lots of water. You need a huge amount of water to clean liver.
  • Caffeine is out. (That sucks – my note not Millie’s)

And the note references a “Favorite liver cleansing supplement” (which must have been something she read somewhere because I NEVER heard her talk about liver cleansing or taking a liver cleansing supplement)…the only liver reference I remember is the liver and onions luncheons she and my dad used to bring our elderly neighbor to in the late 70s!

Anyway, the favorite liver cleanser supplement in her note is BHB Plus. The note says it also has other benefits.

Other benefits of liver cleanser supplement

  • helps you to lose weight
  • increases your energy
  • rebuilds exhausted adrenal glands.

(I don’t really know about the adrenal glands, but the extra energy and weight loss benefits sound good! Maybe I will think about cleaning my liver!) Are you ready to get some liver cleansing on!)  If you are, here is my Amazon link to purchase: https://amzn.to/3jGE1ky. I haven’t tried it and don’t know anything about it except that it has good reviews. Good luck if you try it! I hope it cleans your liver and does whatever else you want it to do!
