Oat Milk … Have you ever tried it?
Oat milk … Have you ever tried it? This is one of those never would I have ever … but I’m REALLY, REALLY glad I did! And I’m not the only one in my house that feels that way. My son and I almost simultaneously asked each other, “Did you try that oat milk? Surprisingly good, wasn’t it?” We were not expecting to like it at all, but were curious about it.

And it’s very healthy … lower in calories than regular homogenized milk, no fat, no cholesterol, … this one did have 7 g of sugar, but we tried another one with no sugar and even lower calories. It was still good though a definite not as sweet taste.
How we got it – unfortunately, was from a dinner guest who was on a very restricted diet and brought it to make himself a smoothie for dinner and left it behind.
I’ve been cautiously adding oats back into my diet after having an allergy acquired during pregnancy … seems to have gone away as this gave me absolutely NO problem and I also used it in oatmeal … no adverse reaction … just a healthy, good tasting, low calorie breakfast.
