A Blizzard in a Waffle Cone!! The best kind!

I think the snow storm making its way up the east coast is the first one this season that’s not going to visit us in Michigan, BUT a BLIZZARD is what we wanted tonight…a DQ Blizzard, that is!

So off to Dairy Queen we went and found the BEST BLIZZARD ever!

… a blizzard in a waffle cone!  Since Valentine’s Day is just a few days away anything pink or red pops right out at me since it fits in festively. And so, the strawberry cheesecake waffle cone blizzard prominently pictured on the menu was undoubtedly going to BE MINE!

The waffle cone was airy and thin and very easy to take tiny bites of without it breaking.  When a waffle cone cracks when bitten it just takes all the pleasure out of eating the ice cream.  The strawberry cheesecake ice cream was flavorful and creamy with chewy cheesecake bits. This really was the most I’ve ever enjoyed a Blizzard!  Any flavor Blizzard is available in the waffle cone and while the waffle cone is still fairly new, having been introduced in the fall, the Red Velvet Blizzard flavor just became available. I”m going to try that next and I expect I’ll fall in love again!
