Dill Pickle Pizza Party! October is National Pizza Month

If you haven’t already heard, October is National Pizza Month. I was really excited to kick it off with a dill pickle pizza party this past weekend!

A friend recently was raving about this dill pickle pizza, and so, of course, I wanted to give it a TASTE! I’ve never had pickle pizza!

This required a road trip to historic Perry, Michigan to pick up the pie at Brent’s Pizza and then on to the friend’s house in Lansing who told us about this creation…which features fresh garlic, mozzarella, an olive oil-based sauce, plenty of pickles and dill… and VERY importantly… served with ranch!

Definitely different, definitely DEEEE-LISH-OUS!!!, and DEFINITELY recommended!  Exit 105 on I-69 if you must also give it a try!

Just in case the dill pizza was too “flavorful,” we also got a deluxe with more traditional ingredients and that was also really, really good!
