Ready-to-serve canned cocktail options for summer!

There are so many ready-to-serve canned cocktail options for summer out there and more keep sprouting up. Since it’s outdoor concert, beach, and picnic season these are really convenient and perfect for the season! I love them.

We first discovered Copper Craft gin and tonic a few years back on our way to Grand Haven beach in West Michigan and were SOOO happy when it FINALLY made it to stores near us. Since then, many more canned cocktail options have come out.

We recently tried Ciroc Vodka Spritz in COLADA flavor …. Yep, it tasted like a pina colada! Definitely a lighter version though.  Refreshing and clean. There are also other flavors: watermelon kiwi, sunset citrus, and pineapple passion.

Also, tried the Crown Royal Whiskey Lemonade … again a winner and refreshing and clean. This one has a nice citrus zing and smooth whiskey blend.  

Found an interesting spiked sparkling water at Trader Joe’s with alcohol from cane sugar, which I had ever heard of… it was mango flavored and really tasted like it… I’m big on sparkling water (and often spike my own for an easy lo-cal cocktail option) so I was glad to find this. And at $1 a can it’s definitely more affordable than the others I mentioned, which are closer to $20 for a 4 pack, but THEY ARE Ciroc and Crown Royal.

We also purchased Bacardi Mojito from Total Wine and taste tested some other ready-to-serve canned cocktail options in store there. SO, if there’s a Total Wine by you, they have a large selection of all different kinds of canned cocktails.  

Of course, these all taste their best served ICE COLD, poured over ice on a REALLY hot summer day! And are terrific just like that, but even better when you add appropriate garnishes… lemons, limes, oranges, mint, cherries …  add some of these fresh ingredients to them to spruce them up and make for an even COOLER summer!
