This is one lemon you’re gonna like!

It’s the little, unexpected things that make the best surprises sometimes. And as I pushed my cart through Vince and Joe’s Gourmet Market last night, I found these lovely little lemon cookies for …. are you ready… ONE DOLLAR!…For the whole package!, which also happens to be an extra large package! What a delight! The sign said 10 for $10, but REALLY who is going to buy 10 extra large packages of lemon cookies for $10? So I just got one… and, yes, it was only ONE DOLLAR. Most stores give you the item for the deal price whether you buy “ten,” or whatever it is, or not.

Upon opening the package, I notice how solid, and decorative each cookie was…

and then as my son picked one up and one wafer fell off…”Oh, no! They don’t stick together!?! Maybe that’s why they are only a dollar!?!,”  we exclaimed! But it was a fluke…none of the others fell apart and they are fresh and tasty!

Yep, it’s the little “lemon” surprises that bring smiles!
